Aktu Taktu - Reykjavik Island

Came here and i asked this asian dude for vegan burger but the dude said heck no and gave me meat burger and told me to eat that and he told me his name is Anh

Stopped in thinking I'll grab a quick bite, which did end up as a quick bite. First bite into the cheese burger give me a bright pink raw burger. 2 meals were ordered both pink and had a weird smell to them. Ended up throwing it away and calling into dominos next door.

Food was not up to standard. Flavorless and very small portions which didn’t matter as no one finished anything we will not go there again and I will not recommend the place.

Aktu Taktu borgarl-So this place is very interesting because it is a popular fast-food restaurant in Reykjavik, and because it looks exactly like McDonalds-and I also heard it may be an old Mickey D’s that was converted. Overall, it was a decent place to grab a burger, fries, and a coke. The burger wasn’t what I expected as most of the fast-food burger joints in Europe taste much different than those in US, but to my surprise this one tasted very similar to home. Not a giant beef patty but it was grilled and the bun was soft and warm, the fries were very similar to McDonalds fries and that’s a huge compliment, they are skinny but not thin so they are the perfect size, they were hot and that was a plus, also they were very salty which I like so overall the burger fries combo worked out great for me and I would recommend if your in the capital of Iceland that you should definitely stop and try it. The customer service was lacking, but there are some staff members who genuinely care and try their best. I really enjoy the fries and they are what I order most frequently. However, I had a bad experience with a shake that overflowed and made a mess in my car. Skúlagata may not be the best, but Ásgarður has the most delicious fries. The soda is excellent as well!
