Ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers, one with Mac and cheese, and mushrooms(which I paid for , but did not get), and fresh onion …. The other fresh onion. We got them, they were soo soggy, you can’t pick them up. Lettuce was really bad, not one mushroom!! Mac and cheese was so peppery, it’s not edible. Good side, actual burgers (meat) was good, and the cris-cross fries. I ordered ahead so I didn’t have to stand in a line of college kids… still had to!!
This is the best BBQ in town. It’s reasonably priced, and delicious. The sides and meat won’t disappoint.
Tastes amazing!!! As a Texas gal, I approve of this bbq!!! My only complaint is that the mac-n-cheese had more grease in it than an entire pizza!! Quite gross, but still tasted amazing!
I got the cowboy platter and paid an extra dollar for ribs only for there to be three of them, the size of my pinky finger. I could have forgiven that since it was the end of the day but they were really burned. If you have itsy bitsy ribs that are burned, it’d be more honest to just say you’re completely out instead of serving them. The rest of the food was good though.
Blisters is fantastic. while I haven't compared their pulled pork side by side with The Hickory's, both certainly represent the best BBQ food in town. What I love about Blisters is the sheer simplicity of being able to walk in, sit down, and get super good BBQ fast with extra sauce and hands readily at hand. even inside a gas station, it's got a very cool, chill vibe. top notch food and service.
