The Village Cafe - Reigate and Banstead

Clearly, the ketchup in the bottles at this restaurant is not Heinz brand. It makes you question what other shortcuts they may be taking. I'm sure they will have Heinz ketchup tomorrow after this feedback.

I am not sure why this restaurant is not rated 5 stars! It is the best coffee I have had in the area (and I drink a lot of coffee!). My husband and I discovered this place by chance and it has quickly become one of our favorite spots for quality coffee and a full English breakfast. The ingredients are top-notch, the staff is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable.

Every week, I go for a walk with a friend and we always keep an eye out for great cafes near the end of our stroll. We found one that was just perfect after our 6 mile hike around Epsom Downs. The cafe had a wide-ranging menu, and our hot ciabattas were generously filled and absolutely delicious. For those with a sweet tooth, they also offered a nice selection of cakes. The cafe's location was ideal, with a view overlooking Mere Pond where our walk began and ended. Despite the freezing weather during our visit, we plan to return in the summer months so we can sit outside and enjoy watching the ducks on the pond.

We found this little cafe/coffee shop by accident on a drive one day. We now pop in when out for a drive. Sometimes we sit in, but when it's busy we grab a takeaway and sit by the village pond. Good coffee and selection of cakes. The staff are always welcoming, and they have been happy to make us a take-out even when we turn up when they are closing up!

Warm, inviting, lovely atmosphere, great breakfast and exactly what I needed for a couple of hours whilst waiting for my daughter so I could do some work. Really friendly staff who know their customers well..
