A rare hidden gem! massive sunny dog friendly garden complete with rare majestic walnut tree. you will not get a better pint of harveys sussex bitter! unflappable bar staff under pressure dianne and emma c excellent, always a friendly smile with good humor and efficiency. the meals are served quickly with an imaginative menu. like the hospitality everywhere the availability of the employees is a problem during the busy times.

Loves this pub! friendly staff, excellent eating with a large menu. also dog-friendly, which is always a bonus for us: large garden, beautiful for summer evenings.

On Thursday we had the most delicious pub lunch, totally recommended! great quality of the food, a clean and quiet atmosphere and very good service.

A well located pub with a beautiful atmosphere. they serve a good selection of inexpensive drinks, from the beating on the tap to the spirits and mixers and the personal are friendly, efficient and attentive.

What a lovely family day out, excellent bands in the garden, excellent atmosphere with people up dancing, staff were excellent, special mention to Kelly who was so helpful, polite and professional. We will 100% be visiting again!
