The servers at this restaurant were unfriendly and had messy hair, tossing their heads around as if they were Beyoncé. The food was cold and below average, with the fries seeming to be cooked twice.

The experience of Pancake Tuesday was spoiled by poor service; the waitress seemed preoccupied with other tasks.

Constructing a salad should not require 12 minutes.

Started with a 10 minute wait for drinks. When we ordered we specifically asked for a baby bowl before our adult meals. They didn't bring any food for 30 minutes and the potatoes were covered in gravy so we said please bring plain potatoes which were brought in less than five minutes so why couldn't the first baby bowl have been brought that quickly instead of making our hungry 9 month old wait. Adult food was mediocre- quesadilla was only lukewarm and the fruit was over ripe and mushy. The soup was salty to the point of being inedible. Not to mention we were never offered a coffee or drink refill. Maybe if there was someone over 16 working service would have been better. They give the Smitty's chain a bad name and we won't be back!

There were a few people dining at 7:45. Smitty’s has an extensive breakfast menu.Breakfasts can be quite expensive. Both of us ordered specials. We had an omelette of mushroom-bacon-cheese and build your own breakfast. The omelette was $8.49 and with coffee ($2.60) it came to over $11. Build your own breakfast was $11.49 + coffee. The server was very friendly and attentive. Coffee was served in a thermos. We had an enjoyable meal. The person at the cash register was friendly and mentioned “Have a great day” as we left.
