Newtown Restaurant - Regina

I visited this place for the first time in a decade. Things have changed. They advertise a buffet there was no buffet. The portion sizes were tiny on their lunch special and the size of the food itself has shrank. This place is a shadow of itself. I will not be returning.

Went in to eat here yesterday and basically got ignored by staff and had to go up to them to actually get them to talk to me what kinda service is that. I came to eat the buffet but to my dismay it wasn't on anymore. So I compromised and got something on the menu. Spent a very long time just waiting and trying to be patient to get my food. Ended up walking out. Not sure if it was because I wasn't Asian because some white ladies got served just fine and I'm native myself so maybe that was why. Never go here though unless it's just for the buffet. The restaurant service fking sucks honestly and was my first time ever going there. My review would be 0 stars if that was possible.

Food was okay… a bit too salty and dry… but still get you full enough…Service was friendly…Their door bell gets a bit annoying after awhile…And no buffet during summer season…

Service was beyond terrible, food was disgusting and greasy, no check in to see how things were at all. And the restaurant only had one customer seated inside. Two gals showed up to pick up their food order and they waited at least 10 minutes at the door then another 20 at the counter. Never again...save your money go somewhere else! I refused to pay for terrible service as well as terrible disgusting food. A big fat 0/5 stars.

Went for a buffet, and it was great.Very clean,very friendly staff. The food was delicious. Moderate price, worth the price.
