The Mexican food here isn't authentic and was somewhat disappointing. It felt a bit bland; the chili tasted like it was straight out of a jar from the grocery store, and the rice wasn’t impressive either. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed by our party of ten; she forgot some of our orders and mixed others up. I would rate this a 1, but I appreciate that she’s working on a Saturday morning rather than enjoying her time off, and she looked like she had just come from high school.

This quaint family-run restaurant in Redlands was clean and welcoming. However, we found it a bit unclear whether we were supposed to wait to be seated or just pick a table. Eventually, we were advised to sit wherever we liked. I ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich, but it was lacking in flavor and vegetables. On the other hand, my wife really enjoyed her patty melt.

TL;DR Good food. Fair prices. Friendly staff. Cosy mood. One of my favorite breakfast places in Redlands! I never had to wait to be sitting, and the one time I waited, it was because they washed the table. The food comes from the kitchen in time and I'm always happy. Your prize is at or under IHOP and Cheliz food is always made with love. I almost always get cookies and Gravy with my breakfast. The staff is always very attentive and the environment is clean and cozy.

Nice little hidden gem in an unassuming marketplace. I've only ever been there for breakfast, but they are open thru lunch. The coffee is good, the food is really good. Hearty portions and priced well. The staff is always super friendly and they work well together. Definitely worth a visit.
