Contribuiți la feedbackWe went to Felix and Amor for breakfast and the food was amazing. The menu isn't extensive, but the portions are generous. The flavors are excellent. I ordered a Filipino dish of Pork Belly and rice, while my partner had an omelette filled with 8 different ingredients. The omelette was thin like a crepe and packed with delicious fillings.
Do not visit this restaurant! I regret to say that my disappointment is evident. I purchased a Groupon for a high tea experience at this establishment. Normally, the High Tea would match the advertised image, however, what we received was not even close. The setting was too elegant for my taste and the food was nothing special, lacking creativity. Despite arriving early for our reservation, they were not prepared for us, indicating a lack of communication. We waited 30 minutes for our tea, only to be served a subpar and amateur-looking spread that was far from what I had expected. Although the establishment has a French-sounding name, the owners seemed to be Asian and may not have understood the concept of High Tea. The staff was friendly, but the food did not meet High Tea standards. Who serves lasagna at a High Tea? I was extremely disappointed, especially since it was for my birthday. While I could give them credit for the misleading pictures, I choose not to be harsh.
It was a special occasion and we were excited for a fancy high tea, similar to the one shown in their Groupon coupon. However, what we received was cold lasagna, sad-looking sandwiches, and poorly presented cake. It was nothing like the "posh" experience they had described. The staff was friendly, but the meal was a letdown. If you're looking for a truly elegant high tea at a reasonable price, I recommend the Lyrebird restaurant in QPAC instead. For just $50 for 2 people, it's only $11 more than the F.
My husband and the 2 and 1/2 year old son went to Sunday break today and the wonderful staff made us feel at home. The coffee was good (needed that with a busy 2 and 1/2) and the food was delicious! Thank you. And the...smoothie was ginorm and yum! I should have taken a chocolate and peanut butter Brownie!
Since my arrival in Australia, in the State of QLD. I’ve been gastronomically journey in Asian tastebuds Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Indian, Thai foods. I was missing something. Ah! Filipino food!!! This was located further away from my accommodation. It was recommended by a...friend. No booking necessary but pre order is accepted. The cafe was adorned with vintage items luggage, cups, kettle, chairs, tables, etc. Lovely charming venue. This is one of the good qualities of Australia mix with rich cultural immigrants. These immigrants brought their traditional foods in this country which makes this country more interesting to live. The foods were served fresh and hot added with very tasteful aroma homemade kitchen cooking. The owner was friendly and welcoming. Downfall: They forgot to serve one of our orders. The special Halo halo was lack of some of the ingredients. Verdict: Recommendable to visit again.
