Great service and atmosphere. Had some great food brought out by Paige and Niamh and the lovely Jess took my order as well as Kay on the bar making sure I had everything I needed! Good quality food and value for money! Definitely recommend!!

We went for cool drink and lunch, no problem getting a table (which we found strange as before it’s would be busy) we sat outside and decided on our drinks. My daughter order passion fruit drink, which was made incorrectly. My daughter returned the drink to the bar and stated the drink hadn’t got lemonade in, the bar lady said no it wouldn’t as I’ve always made it with soda water (the menu stated lemonade) my daughter shown the bar lady the menu who was arguing with her that she was wrong even though the menu stated lemonade, the drink eventually was changed. Ordered our food, wasn’t impressed, forget condiments on my daughters meal and mine jacket potato, had more rotten black bits you could see when delivered to table, so the chef would have noticed this surely?. Not impressed think Meadow Farm gone downhill which is upsetting. No lemon in Gin no straws, daughters meal , no baguettes so changed to bread, dry sandwich.

Nice room, well organized for our needs, location is superb,really quiet,ideal for a relaxing stay. We didn't use the service but judging by what we got as overall service, I would say it is a nice place to stay. Highly recommended.

We were disappointed that the advertised food service was incorrect. Traveling with 2 diabetics we made sure we had booked into somewhere we could eat on arrival, to have booked at table in the restaurant for 830 to 1030 to be told at 850 the kitchen was closing and refused service. We lucky got sandwiches at the garage across the road and went back to our rooms, only to read in the Information pack the restaurant is open till 10! The lady at breakfast the next day was very apologies insistently they've never served till 10. Please correct this!. Note this was a Friday night so not unusual for people to eat late, especially on a bank holiday.

After spending 3 days in a travel lodge I have to say that meadow farm is a breath of fresh air! Fantastic customer service very welcoming and friendly staff. Room perfect with premium tea and coffee unlike the cheap offerings at travel lodge. You will definitely be my first choice when I'm back in the area. Thank you x
