Baurnafea House - Rathcoole

This restaurant just opened today and it’s one of my favourites already I have had only good food and good drinks the staff are friendly and the place looks vey nice I recommend anyone staying here for a few hours

This pub discriminates against the Travelling community. I used to go there on a regular basis, but nothing could make me go back. I don't give money to bigots.

WE had a party of six and had starters and main courses plus drinks. The starters were tasty (garlic mushrooms and chicken wings). Most of us had steaks and they were very good quality and good value for money with generous portions of fries. The steaks comes with pepper sauce (very nice) and coleslaw. To my surprise I liked the chicken curry burger. Very succulent chicken and tasty curry sauce. What not to like. Also the house wine was not a pluck. Def we can recommend

Place is filthy, understaffed and food is manky! 55 mins waiting on a starter, wasn’t worth the wait, wings were tiny and poor, Brie wedges were like mayonnaise inside And the roast beef dinner was very bad. As you can see from pics I couldn’t eat more than a few forkfuls. Glass of 7up free we got was flat like it was poured from a large bottle that was opened a week ago

Visited here with my wife and 2 children. Food took forever to come out of kitchen, and when it did , it certainly Wasn’t worth the wait. My wife and I both had fish and chips, which was mainly batter, the fish was no where to be seen. The kids wanted pizza, which wasn’t available as it was Sunday, no pizza on sundays must be a weird religious thing. We all ordered the same deserts to save time .we spent about 2 hours in the restaurant, mainly waiting on our food. Children where dyeing of thirst , due to a total lack of staff. We felt lucky just to get our food, and we didn’t want to put the poor girl working in the restaurant under any more pressure. I have to say she deserves a medal, she was looking after every customer on her own, she took the orders, served the food , cleaned the tables, and settled the bills, the chap behind the counter should of gave her a hand. We didn’t catch her name, she had dark hair and a horse voice. That restaurant are very lucky to have her. We will not be back.
