White House - Roscrea

Had lunch at the white house today 10th October 2021. Absolutely beautiful. Staff were really friendly. Food was really nice good presentation hot. Compliments to the chef. It’s a really nice place as they have a beautiful outdoor area a fantastic coffee shop. Tommy a really nice guy good character. We will be definitely be returning. Well done to all the staff at the whitehouse good luck with the new renovations which is going to be fabulous when finished.

Recently stopped here for an evening meal with friends. We were greeted at the door by the owner as if we were long lost relatives come for a visit! When he found out we were into local history, the conversation REALLY started flowing!!! Perfect place for dining. Food and atmosphere are top notch. Will DEFINITELY be stopping by again when in that part of the country again.

Having travelled the N7 to Limerick quite a lot recently we were looking for a family friendly alternative to the Obama plaza decided to check out the TripAdvisor highly rated Whitehouse pub in Roscrea . Initially we were a bit concerned by being the only customers but at 6:30pm on a week day that’s to be expected. It’s a recently refurbished pub/restaurant/b b with a simple pub food menu. We were warmly welcomed by Kerry the waitress Tommy the Bar man. We were assured today special of Lamb stew was just freshly made. All the food was tasty, freshly prepared and sizable portions. My husband chose the Lamb stew and he struggled to finish the full plate! And for dessert the lemon cheesecake was also delicious. They were particularly great at accommodating our toddler and making sure we could eat with the baby. Tommy the bar man was full of chat, local history and news. His colleague Kerry seemed run the food side of things with great aplomb and while the menu isn’t long or complex, it’s food well done. Bravo guys! We will look forward to our next visit.

We stopped here and had the warmest welcome we could have received. Everyone was very friendly and very happy to have our business. The food was excellent and the wait times were almost nonexistent. If we get the chance to come back to Ireland I will absolutely be coming back to this restaurant
