Contribuiți la feedbackI love the variety of vegetables and sauces we vegan. You must tell them you want it vegan, otherwise there is a choice that meat touches your food. They put it in the same way as they do when there is an allergy, separate spatulas and guarded by any flinging meat pieces. There are a variety of sauces that are also vegan, which means that you can get many flavors from your food. I felt like my meal was cold, though I came to my table, which was strange, as all the other food seemed to be sizzling.
This restaurant has a great concept: Fill a bowl with your choice of noodles, vegetables and protein food, and sauces, and they will stir it for you on a grill. If you want, you can add rice, peanuts, chow to the finished product, pasta and/or coconut flakes. For your first trip there I recommend asking for the ingredients list. For example, you learn that the offered noodles, only the pad Thai noodles are vegan. The first station was all meat, so I skipped it. Was happy to see the meat separated from the vegetable station. The vegetable station included black beans and tofu. Unfortunately, the tofu is not organic and probably contains GMOs, so I skipped it. The vegetable station also includes broccoli, snap bases, onion, crushed carrots, small pineapple cubes, mung bean sprouts, cilantro and much more. Many vegan options for a stir fry. The last food station is the sauce station. Some of the sauces that are vegan from the listed ingredients do NOT appear vegan. This includes the peanut sauce that contains only the vegan ingredients, but not the fish sauce and milk. Make sure that the sauce you want is marked with a V for vegetarian, and then check the ingredients list to make sure it is vegan. I used garlic oil, sesame oil and lemon juice. I skipped the non-organic soy sauce as it contains GMOs. After adding the sauces, the next stop of the grill is. Tell the cook that you are vegan, and he will clean a section of the grill for you, season it for your food with 2 spatulas and use 2 more spatulas to stir your food that no other food touch. The chefs and waiting staff are very nice and helpful. Although I was happy to eat here three times during my vacation in Rapid City, I would have been much happier if the food was organic. Broccoli contains, for example, many pesticides, and non-organic soy products such as tofu and soy sauce contain GMOs. Also I was very disappointed the peanut sauce was not vegan. It is so unnecessary to add fish sauce and milk! Updated from previous review on 2017-07-20
The staff had no idea what was vegan, but they liked our request, cleaned and separated the grill from all other orders after we made vegan choice.
Good food, fresh ingredients and separated from meat products. The staff is friendly and there is a good amount of vegan options. Nice place for vegan options in Rapid City.
We were at the restaurant for thirty minutes before we were able to identify our server, so we resorted to asking for things from whoever passed by until our designated server showed themselves. Once we were able to connect with our server, the service was excellent!
