Aloft Ontario-rancho Cucamonga

First time staying in an Aloft. When walking into the lobby, it was very clean and smelled amazing (unless you're not a fan of citrus fragrance, but I loved it the front desk staff and bartender were always courteous and helpful.The rooms are not exceptionally big, but get the job done. The bed was very comfortable. The A/C unit did a great job of keeping the room cold, but was a little loud (didn't sound like it had a problem, just think that's how the A/C sounds Also appeared to be some mildew stains inside the shower and on the ceiling above the shower.I wasn't a huge fan of the fact that both elevators said their inspections expired in January of 2021 (didn't ever experience something wrong in the elevator and that this has been missed by hotel staff and management for over two years.Location was in a nice area, pretty easy to get to the interstate and to local restaurants and business.

We did not start here, we just came to have a few drinks at the bar and okay some pool. Also, we are cigar smokers and as long as you're consuming from the bar, they will allow you to go around an area that's just outside the pool area where there are chairs set up for drinking and smoking. It is a nice alternative from going to an actual bar, pub, sports bar, etc. to have a few drinks, okay some pool, and just chill for a while. They play music but not super loud. We went on a Wednesday night and they were playing pop music, but that may change from day to day. The bartender was super cool and took care of our orders promptly. Overall this place is a cool spot to chill out.Nearby activities: The Ontario Mills Mall, Toyota Arena, Big Al's, loads of restaurants, and the Ontario airport.

Stayed here for a wedding in town. The airport is very close as well as the venue, so I can see why the couple picked this hotel. Great stay, wonderful staff. The Aloft is a new brand of Marriott, so just make sure you are comfortable with their approach. The hotel has a few bars and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel does have a bar, not the best selection, but again, it 's fitting for the Aloft brand.

It’s a new build hotel. It’s ok for a short time overnight stay . It does not have in house restaurants and cost is average to High compared with other brands . When compared with other chains it might need some improvements in over all services facilities. Customer services need improvements probably due to lack of man power . This is the most of those motel style hotel i have seen where front office also act as cash counter , room service , food order chef ?‍?. The folks work hard here . This is overall a place for casual traveller not for regular or elite travelers as you will not get extra benefits here.

I was visiting family in the area for several nights and originally booked a stay at a nearby Residence Inn (since I’m a Bonvoy member and had a horrible experience there, so I checked out of there after the first night and moved to this property – The guy checking me in was great! I told him about the issues with the other property and he actually apologized and was swift getting me checked in. He was helpful with other requests as well. This hotel is actually pretty decent… There are some odd issues, such as guests having vandalized the elevator read out (scraped their names/graffiti into it – why?!? … Also, there are typically cloth covers over the lights on the ceiling in the halls, but here they’re completely missing and there’s an open frame with fluorescent bulbs – looks odd. Other than that – the room was nice and comfy. Regarding the room, the TV worked well and so did the shower, but the sink doesn’t seem to get hot water – This is actually something I’ve noticed at all the Aloft hotels I’ve stayed in, they do a horrible job of providing hot water. The housekeeping staff seems to do a decent job, at least in the room I’m in. Typical amenities in the room too. Location is much cleaner and safer than across near the airport, but this is less than 5 mins from there – so stay here instead! I would stay here again!
