Contribuiți la feedbackThe food are great, staffs are friendly and helpful. We ordered: 1. Squash Flower Fritters 2. Shrip Aglio Olio 3. Heirloom Beef Salpico 4. Paella Valencia 5. Tamarind Roasted Chicken 6. Lechon Sinigang 7. Cookies with Ice Cream 8. Lengua with Mashed Potatoes I specifically loved the aglio olio, paella, salpicao and the chicken. I thought the chicken looked “so so” but when I tasted it, the flavors erupted in my mouth even the white meat part is very tasty. Everything is awesome except for the sinigang. I normally cook Lechon Sinigang and my family really cooks it well, maybe that’s why I’am picky with my sinigang. Serving portion is small considering the price point, though I can taste that the ingredients are all out. DO NOT MISS their cookies because it is freshly baked and TDF!! Some orders took 30mins but since I’ve had an heads up, it’s A okay! I prefer my food cooked as I order : Heirloom Kitchen serves heirloom recipes. Will be back!!!
One of the best Spanish restaurants in Tomas Morato. I ordered the Mushroom al ajillo, Tomato soup, and Paella negra. Everything is great except for the Paella which is a little bland.
Staffs were really friendly and our server recommended these dishes. What we ordered: 1. Squash Flower Fritters: -deep fried squash stuffed with herb cheese and served with marinara sauce 2. Heirloom Beef Lengua: -ox tongue with mushroom cream sauce and served with mashed potato 3. Paella Negra: -squid ink, squid rings and shrimp served with butter and roast garlic
This place is such a good find amongst the many choices in its area. Perfect for dates, and the food is homey. I like how knowledgable the staff are about their menu and how they attend to their guests . Top choices: stuffed bangus and lengua.
Overall: The delicious taste of the dishes that they serve here is nostalgic of the meals you would get from your mom or lola’s house but done with an uniquely elegant twist. I can see why it’s called 49 B Heirloom Kitchen, because it makes you feel like you’re right at home. Although, known for their Beef Lengua and Callos, here are a few things you must absolutely add to dishes to try: 1. Squash Flower Fritters Appetizer Sounds a bit strange at first especially when you’re not used to eating squash flowers, but the burst of flavor from the herb cheese is well complimented with their home made marinara sauce. 2. Adobong Pusit Sa Gata Main Dish I could drink this (and I have). With greens mixed in, the eggplants you find are soaked in it’s sauce. The balance between the squid ink and coconut milk is done exquisitely and something I always look forward to having during my visits. 3. Sinigang na Salmon sa Miso Main Dish If you’re a fan of Miso Soup and Sinigang, this is the dish for you. These were one of the meals that really hit that nostalgia high, great to have on cool rainy days. 4. Mary Ann’s Chocolate Chip Cookies Dessert Prepare yourself. The thing with this dessert is that you’ll be finding it pretty difficult to go back to any store bought cookies or most cookies really. One order comes with 5 FRESHLY BAKED pieces (trust me, I wish they came with more), and I highly recommend to take it with their fresh milk. Yup, that’s right. They are baked fresh, not reheated. It was a 12 minute wait from when we had asked for it, and it was definitely worth it. Thank you 49 B Heirloom Kitchen! Can’t wait to try more dishes next time. Lots of Love, Toni B.
