Soul Souffle - Queula

This restaurant is a food lover's paradise. Be sure to try the cocktails or the Long Island Iced Tea, which is served in a half-liter jug! It is also one of the best places in Goa for a steak dinner. When in doubt, ask the chefs for recommendations - you won't be disappointed. This place is truly beautiful and a must-visit.

Was very dissatisfied with food quality and presentation. stuffed mushrooms and pasta were pathetic. I asked for a moderate, rare steak and was well done. would not recommend this place. money wasted.

Our culinary exploration of South Goa brought us to Soul Soufflé in Verna, where we found ourselves in a spacious bungalow tastefully decorated like a cozy living room. Tables were situated around the perimeter and outside in the garden. The bar offered an extensive selection of drinks, and the menu featured a variety of Goan, Indian, and Chinese dishes that were both interesting and affordable. Despite it being a Wednesday, the restaurant was not overly crowded, and we enjoyed a pleasant dining experience.

We visited soul souffle restaurant at Verna on 9th July 2017.had always wanted to eat here .So wife and me went there for lunch.Area around was crowded with cars and bikes making us think that place may not be available.But to our surprise we saw the restaurant almost empty with just 2 tables occupied..and further inquiring led us to the famous waterfall ...called Uddear next door to Soul.So that's where all the crowd was.Anyway me and wife occupied a table and ordered for crispy chicken.Came to know that some items on menu were not available...including SausagesPulao.Ambience wise it's OK. maybe in the evenings it's better.Price wise also little higher.May be recommended for a one time visit.Specially for us coming from North Goa.

We were stationed at Betalbatim just a little north of Colva beach in South Goa. Ahh yes..! surrounded by greenery, we happily lazing around enjoying the calm, serene and quiet environment of the resort we were staying at. Little did we notice the time passing by and it was almost 10 in the night. We asked the hotel manager where we could dine this late and he suggested that we try out this place called "Soul Soufflé". Having rented a self drive car we had little to no issues driving up to this restaurant. As you all know it's rainy season, it was quite a satisfying drive up a hill that led to this remote yet happening place. As we entered the ambiance was quite enthralling, with a pool table sitting right in the middle and a stage to your left where live music was going on. It was drizzling and we sat at one of the tables as cool moist wind blew across our faces. The mood was set the weather was awesome and it was time to order some drinks. The bartender made customised drinks for us as per our requirement. We had the cosmopolitan, watermelon Mojito, and the evergreen pinacolada. Well the drinks were quite satisfying. For starters and soups we had the monchow soup, it was sure a delicacy to savour on. The soup was followed by some Chicken wings and King Fish with masala. The masala on the king fish felt as if the Tandoori tikka masala was on steroids. The flavours were so vivid I still remember the taste lingering. I pity myself for not eating non veg. As I could only try the masala and not the whole preparation. But trust me it was fantastic. For the mains we had Gobi Aloo Paratha. The parathas were heavy and damn tasty. Then came the biryani. The biryani was perfect. Just the way it is supposed to be. Smoky fragrant and filled with spices. We were so full at the end that there was no place left in our bellies to order for any desert. The visit to this place was worth every penny and time spent.Do visit this restaurant next time you are in south goa. I am sure you would have much better memories than the ones I am cherishing right now. Cheers people. Happy munching. ;)
