Marika's Place - Putnam

I had breakfast at this charming little eatery, and it was delightful! The only issue I noticed was the limited parking, which doesn’t seem to match the high demand (though they do have quite a bit of parking available). Our meals came out quickly and were incredibly fresh—almost as fresh as the wonderful waitstaff! I hesitated to write this review because I want to keep this place to myself for selfish reasons! But trust me, visit just once and you’ll see why! Great people, great atmosphere—plain and simple.

I ordered a standard breakfast of two sunny-side-up eggs, house fries, and wheat toast, along with a side of sausage. It was absolutely phenomenal! The sausages were incredible, wonderfully spiced, and the house fries were delightful. From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed, as if I had been a regular there for ages. I think I've found my new favorite breakfast spot!

I really enjoy a hearty breakfast, and I'm a big fan of biscuits and gravy. Some restaurants offer biscuits and gravy as part of their breakfast options, and I was fortunate enough to find that they had a special on it. So, I ordered my usual breakfast: three eggs cooked over medium, home fries, a ham steak, wheat toast, and of course, the biscuits and gravy. I savored every bite! This was my first visit to this place, but I definitely plan to return.

This is a wonderful family-owned restaurant. They offer breakfast all day long, which is a fantastic perk. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious with generous portion sizes at reasonable prices. I highly recommend visiting this place if you're in the area!

I recently moved to the area a couple of months ago, and I can confidently say that this is the best breakfast place around. The prices are great too! I usually get the Western sandwich with cheese and home fries, and everything is delicious with generous portions. I look forward to this meal every week—it's the highlight of my morning! The waitress I see at 5:45 AM is always friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
