Toro Tinto Pizza Grill - Puntarenas

Great food! The service was phenomenal and the pizza was this thin crust and very tasty! The place itself has a very good vibe and well decorated. Service was quick as well and the staff are knowledgeable about the area as well.

Excellent medium-rare 12oz rib eye steak, and good house wine choice that won't bankrupt you. They definitely know how to steak, unlike some other places we've seen in CR. The meat was tender, and cooked exactly how we've asked: medium rare. There are other cuts you can choose from (see menu).

Delicious ribeye and fries. Ribs were off the bone tender. Octopus carpaccio was the best.

Excellent steak at a very reasonable price, which included side salad and chips. Service was great, beer is a good price and a good selection of wines. Ambience also great. Highly recommended.

After 2 trips to Costa Rica, traveling all the way from Pavones to Monteverde, I can say without a doubt, this is the best pizza in Costa Rica. Hand-tossed dough, mozzarella cheese, oven baked, REAL pepperoni pizza. Just wish they offered by the slice for solo travelers.
