Basilico Café - Prospect

We ordered beer, lemon lime bitter, vegetrian pizza, and a schnitzel with fries. The pizza was good. The mushroom were fresh. The olives weren't overpowering. It was nice! Sadly, it stopped there. Their schnitzel have this funny taste must be from an herb I can't figure out what. The chicken was dry. The lemon lime bitter doesn't taste good either. Tastes like cough syrup.The toilet is a concern for me. It is way back out of the restaurant in a dark corner and has access from the neighborhood. Adults, don't let yout kids or girls go to the toilet by themselves. What if some lunatic assualts your loved one.I might eat there again but would only order pizza as it is wood oven baked.

Our local Italian restaurant, pasta is great and the wood oven pizza is fantastic! Servings are huge and they probably need to make an entree and main size difference for those who want both pasta and pizza!

Having passed this place pretty much morning noon and night for some time now I've noticed the development and change in the shopfront.

The BEST wood oven pizza in town. Casual atmosphere, fantastic staff. Very reasonable prices. The food quality far outweighs the look of the place.
