Restaurant David's - Progreso

The owners/staff are so friendly and we felt completely at home. The owners are from the Toronto area and we connected instantly. The food was very reasonably priced and the specials were amazing! I recommend to anyone in the area.

They serve pizza but the rest of the menu is tasty,too. I have ordered pizza and waited an hour only to find that they ran out of cheese and had to go buy it. Breakfast is very Mexican and good food for value. Service is iffy at best. Try to pay you bill at the counter to avoid confusion.

This is a small, very casual home cooking restaurant.You either like it or hate it.There are a reasonable number of choices on the menu but it's not extensive.The pizza is good, especially for a small village in Mexico but don't expect big city Italian restaurant food.Basically it's reasonably priced, within walking distance of a lot of seasonal renters and it's okay food. Nice owners, but don't expect instant service.

First time we visited David's we had a great pizza. The next time we visited we had a terrible pizza......crust burnt and the top undercooked. Needless to say we will not be back for pizza. I guess we hit a bad night.

We have only eaten here once, but friends recommended the pizza. They have much more than pizza, but we were in need of a pizza dinner.We thought the pizza was great. I had pep and ham and my wife had the veggie (zucchini, onion, broccoliand other stuff). We brought some home. We also tried the dessert - wonderful.I had the homemade chocolate cake and Nancy had the carrot cake. We will be back.
