Edo Japan Cornerstone Shopping Centre Grill And Sushi

The food was outstanding and the service was delightful. The gentleman who took our order was exceptionally helpful and courteous, always wearing a friendly smile. The restaurant itself is very clean and inviting. I would definitely give it a 10/10 recommendation.

The service was excellent—fast and very friendly. However, the portion sizes of the food I ordered appeared to have decreased compared to my last visit about a year ago. I ordered a Bento box and a sumo-sized noodle bowl, but the portion in the sumo bowl was what I received last time as a regular noodle bowl, while the Bento was smaller than before. The noodles were strange and chewy, unlike what I remembered. Additionally, everything was cold, and the vegetables seemed undercooked, almost like they weren't cooked at all. I picked it up as takeout, and I expected it to be hot by the time I got home, which is only a three-minute drive. I was very disappointed.

Third time in a year I have noticed health code violations. Today a person was cooking on the grill with no net on a very long bead. Disgusting. Update decided to give them another try. Ordered a beef bento box with 4 sushi and 2 tempura shrimp. Got home and it's chicken and no shrimp 2 spring rolls instead. I would not recommend this place at all.

I had a satisfying experience at Edo Japan! Their Thursday deal with 16 pieces of sushi for $9.99 was a great value for me. The kind staff and clean environment also add to the overall positive dining experience. I'll be sure to recommend it to others looking for a casual good Japanese restaurant with daily deals.
