Johnny's Tavern - Prairie Village

This was my husband and I's first time dining here, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was incredible, and our waitress was excellent. We really enjoyed our visit!

We placed an online order for pickup, and everything was excellent. The pickup time was spot-on, matching the estimated time perfectly. All the items were packaged properly, ensuring that everything arrived fresh and at the right temperatures—warm items were warm, and cool items, like the lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, fries, and sauces, were cool as they should be. Our order was accurate, including all the extras we requested. I want to thank the staff for providing such a wonderful experience!

Just a quick update rather than a full review. This place is amazing with fantastic burgers! However, please note that this location will be temporarily closing on Sunday, May 7th, 2023, for about three months for a complete remodel. I learned this from two of the waitresses during my visit a few days ago. They’re aiming to reopen by August 1, 2023. I’m looking forward to their return!

Service, food and liquor choices are really good. We have the feuded pickles and jalapeños, the portion was pretty decent sized. Would definitely come here again.

What a great place to eat! Good beer as As usual when I give a 5-star review it's all about the service, and with one guy there, it was amazing. There is something special about a burger that finally disintegrates before you can finish it because of all of the goodies The fries were great as well. Mustard on the table, just as it should be.
