Café Provence - Prairie Village

We didn't have a reservation, but despite the restaurant being busy, they were able to accommodate us with a bit of creativity. The service was both efficient and friendly. I ordered the quiche, which was fantastic. The coffee was served in a French press and was hot and delicious. The bread was crusty and warm. I'll definitely return to Prairie Village next time!

The food and atmosphere are fantastic! My friend and I have ordered the Prix Fixe menu several times and tried the regular dinner menu once. Each course and meal has been among the best I've ever had. Overall, I find it hard to imagine a better culinary experience. Café Provence truly deserves all of its many accolades and awards.

I had one of the best meals I've enjoyed in a long time. The ambiance was fantastic—it really transported me back to France. The wine selection is excellent. If you have the chance to try the lemon soufflés, don’t hesitate; just order them. UPDATE: Cafe Provence never ceases to amaze. I had an absolutely stunning dinner tonight.

Dinner was amazing, service was on site. Definitely back. Started with escargot and bread service. Bread came with garlic butter, but I couldn't get away from the sauce the snails were served. Must try the onion soup, but will be difficult if they have Clam Chowder again. Kalb was tender and tasty. Desserts are individually dimensioned, but we were full enough that we could have really shared one.

As we awaited our food the man at the next table tried his partner 's salmon and exclaimed That 's outstanding! Which pretty well sums up Cafe Provence. Unique food expertly prepared with impeccable service in the most French setting in Kansas City. Outstanding indeed
