Lip Licking Kebab House - Powys

The quality of the food at this restaurant has significantly declined. I used to be a frequent customer, but the prices have become exorbitant and the food is barely cooked. I ordered a wrap and was charged for a wrap, but received a tray of Donner meat and hard pita bread in a separate bag. Unfortunately, I do not plan on returning to this establishment. It seems that there is a focus on profit rather than pride in their cooking. It is disappointing to have to leave this review, but I have noticed a rapid decline in the quality of food. While the family who owns the restaurant are wonderful people, it is important for them to consider customer feedback in order to improve.

Absolutely horrendous food literally only use it as a last resort if everything else is closed. Pizzas come with a block of cheese on them and always find hairs in food

We went to the white horse in Builth wells and we were disappointed to find they were not serving food on a Sunday evening. Headed back to Llandrindod and decided on a takeaway as we were all hungry. We are so glad we went here. The special lamb kebab was the best I’ve had for a very long time. Came with peppers mushrooms and onions. The lamb was so tender and very lean. The others had various mixed kebabs and everyone was really pleased with theirs. Maybe it’s new owners as can not understand why there are bad reviews. We will be back if down this way again .

Visited here for food as we was staying local for a week and fancied a kebab. Lovely service don’t get me wrong. But the food is awful. The kebab was like rubber and had no taste to it at all and the chips were under cooked, they were hard, and it is also way over priced

We received a warm welcome when we entered the restaurant and ordered a substantial amount of food, which seemed to make the staff happy. When our order was ready, they even gave us two menus in hopes of us returning, especially since we ordered so much. However, when we arrived home 11 miles away, we discovered that some items were missing. We called the restaurant and were accused of lying. We were extremely disappointed and felt ripped off. The food was also not up to standard. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this restaurant.
