Sushi Spot - Powell

This place is very good and the selection is beautiful. Better prices than Nama.

Looking for average?. Although the waiting staff was a bit crawling, the food was pretty good. The sushi could be rolled slightly narrow, but overall this was a pleasant average experience. I'm not particularly excited about Sushi Spot, but I'm not disappointed either. If you really want good sushi and good service, go to Namas. Nama's is located in downtown, on Gay St, and in Bearden, on Kingston Pike. (No, I don't work for Namas; I only appreciate good quality and service.

Hit the Spot!. The wait is sometimes killer but I like the food and they often run half off promotions with local media so that makes the price more reasonable. The 4 times we have visited, the service was good but slow and the food was fresh. Good menu selections. I don't know if I would drive to Powell for just to eat here but great for the locals.

Pricey and inconsistent but at least its close. I was super excited when I notice Sushi Spot being built. It took us awhile to make it in even after several attempts. It seemed like the hours between their Facebook page and reality didn't always agree. When we finally made it in I liked the sushi. It wasn't an amazing experience, but it was good sushi. The service was iffy all around. Server not very personal and hostess busying herself with a friend. Still we visit on occasion when we don't want to drive out of the immediate area for sushi.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! We visited the Sushi Spot for the first time and were completely impressed by the fantastic food, top-notch service, and wonderful atmosphere! This will definitely be our go-to place for girls' nights and date nights from now on!
