Contribuiți la feedbackI was visiting family in town and decided to have dinner at this restaurant with my mom. We both ordered pasta dishes; I had the scallop fettuccine and she had the blackened chicken linguine. We were both pleased with our meals. The service was excellent too!
Very enjoyable! This great little pub has a big deck overlooking the marina on Powell Lake. We had a lovely time enjoying drinks and food while watching the Harbour Air float plane and numerous boats coming and going. Beer was excellent and our mushroom cheese burger was delicious! The mushrooms on the burger were particularly fantastic. The servers were friendly and service was very good, especially considering how busy they were. We understand the chef is relatively new and is definitely doing a good job! We just wish we were local so we could try some of the other things on the menu another day. Maybe next year!
Helped the family launch the boat in the lake and decided to stop for lunch. The service was slow; asked for a water with lemon did not happen: no lemon (although other tables seemed to get lemon.... ; waiting for our order was even SLLLOOOWWWEEER. The food was OK. My husband's brisket was too sweet and I think there was no dressing on my salad if it was there, it was pretty nondescript. The shrimp and avo used to be served in a delicious croissant. No longer. It was in a toasted ?brioche bread. Not really adequate service for a late lunch on a weekday.
We took some friends out for lunch and wanted them to pick a resturant they really liked they picked Shingle Mill. Beautiful place, right on the water just still casual dress . 3 of us had fish and chips and the portions were huge. Plus my husband had the Bear Tooth icecream pie for dessert, and I had their lemon meringue dessert in a jar . Service was great too!
Twice in a row unacceptable food, overpriced, I find it difficult to believe that this is an exception. I want your correspondance written here on public feed not in a telephone conversation. The first time we ordered the most expensive dish on the menu to celebrate and the beef was definately stew beef and both of us spat it out as we cound not chew it. This is not just bad food this is criminal neglegance. The second time we ordered a reuben sandwich, it was pub beef not corned beef and so little of it the day old bun that was warmed up on it made the contents disapear. Then we were offered a descount of under three dollars on a plate we sent back. So would you like to explain?
