Marco E Caterina - POSADA

I went to Marco Caterina with my boyfriend for dinner. After reading good and bad reviews, we thought we give it a go, but unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. The food was average, and the staff was unfriendly and snobbish. We ordered mixed seafood for starters, and it was ok but well overpriced. My boyfriend ordered chicken for the main course, and they brought him veal instead. He complained to the waitress that she brought him the wrong dish, and she said there was no chicken left. Perhaps, next time you should advise the customer before sending the substitute! They had an attitude problem with us after sending the dish back. Awful place!

Marco e Caterina offers a warm welcome to every single person passing the front door, a greeting from Caterina or Marco himself makes the expérience start the best possible way! The food is classic Sardinia and is as simple as excellent! They prepare the majority of their vegetables and alcool and bread themselves during the closed months! This year we were from 2 to 20 at the table and everything was perfect no matter the size of the group! My family, my friends and I just live the place and the people. This is our easy restaurant by default whenever in’ Sardinia! Been there since years and will never stop going !!! Try it !!

Since not everything was open for lunch we ended up in this recommended restaurant. Spacious enough to be comfortable, but the dishes did not live up to our expectations. Portions were fine, but the seafood risotto for two was rather disappointing.
