Gino's Pizzeria - Portsmouth

After browsing nearby options, we decided on Gino's based on pictures and reviews and we're so glad we did. Pizza was amazing, tons of toppings and fairly priced. Chef salad was huge and lots of toppings, homemade Italian was delicious. Fair amount of parking, it's a small shop. Some outdoor and indoor seating. Small bar available. Vast menu, again great pricing. Staff was friendly and efficient. Next time we're in Portsmouth we will absolutely stop in again and try some other things. Check them out! Local businesses like this deserve to thrive.

The staff are courteous and helpful. The food had me wondering why I don't come here more often. The inside of the establishment leaves a lil bit to be desired but all around a great experience and I'm looking forward to crushing something here soon.Food: 5/5

Just arrived in Portsmouth and decided on pizza. Found this on my phone as it was just a couple miles from our motel. Got there and it was just a whole on the wall restaurant. Asked for a menu and was given a paper flyer 'esque ' ' menu. On it, it had listed 2 large 1 topping pizza for 27.99 I believe. After ordering 2 large pepperoni pizzas the total was 40 dollars. I asked about the price on the menu and was explained to me that the price was for a returning guest with the flyer. If I would have known that I would have only ordered 1 pizza. The owner did give me a complimentary 2 liter..... The flavor was ok. New York pizza it was not. No where near bad, BUT.... Not the new York flavor and greatly disappointed about being duped on the price. However the owner was very friendly.

The place is small, sure. But everything else about it is phenomenal. The food always comes out fresh, the little hometown atmosphere, and the owners integration with the customers is top notch. This place has exceeded the expectations set based from experiencing other pizza shops around the area and it just brings me back to my childhood. I never leave here hungry or wanting more.

We stopped by get get a pizza and ended up having a wonderful time talking with the owner and telling stories. What a great place and exceptional customer service. I highly recommend the restaurant. I had pizza and my c worker had a calazone.Parking: There is plenty of free parking just half a block away
