Alpine Inn - Portola Valley

This restaurant is a fun spot with quick service, even on a busy Sunday. It's dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along. Ordering is easy through a QR code on your phone. The BLAT sandwich is large enough to share, and the pizzas are excellent. The only downside is the parking situation; if the lot is full, you'll need to park on the street.

What a truly fantastic place! The Philly cheesesteak is amazing, and the San Francisco Amber Ale is just as delightful.

The atmosphere is fantastic, and the prices for drinks and food are very reasonable. The service is impressively quick; you place your orders through the app and get served in just minutes. I really appreciated the hospitality, service, and quality of the food. The cocktails were excellent, while the beer was just average. The location is also a big plus. It's definitely a place you should try if you're out with a large group of friends. Plus, it's quite historic!

This place is so popular, for a very good reason. Their pizzas are fabulous, the venue is open-air casual, with a convivial atmosphere from the music (not live). Beer on tap or by bottles. Order via an app, and delivered by wait staff. Need to send advanced party early in the evening (late afternoon really) to ensure a table. Parking overflows often; table time limit (2 hrs if it's an early evening) when busy, which is most nights. This historic location was acquired by a group of (well heeled) local residents to help preserve it, but in the process they built a very successful restaurant operation!

Great place for the family and doggies. We loved the tri-tip and pulled pork sandwiches.
