Tattva Restaurant & Bar - Porto

I asked what was for dinner and told deep fried squid. Sign me up. I got served codfish because they ran out of squid. No house red wine. 24 high school girls showed up and it was so noisy I couldn't have a conversation. No problem... I love kids and have traveled extensively. Things go wrong we adapt. When I suggested to the server that a drink tomorrow on the house might be appropriate I was treated in a disrespectful manner. Would not stay here again (combo hostel resturant)

We didn't realise this place was part of a hostel until we got there. The food was really tasty, the staff very welcoming and helpful. The chicken curry was awesome! Very affordable prices.

As some of us are vegetarians we were looking for a vegetarian friendly restaurant and and we found Tattva via your recommendations. We loved the food. Very fresh and tasty. The service is wonderful. Although we arrived early, they opened the kitchen for us and prepared the food on the spot. The place is friendly, welcoming and made us feel comfortable.
