An excellent spot for some quality and familiar food. Everyone will make you feel welcome and relaxed, since it’s motto is to serve well and cheap. 5 stars

If you want a decent meal that won 't break the back then drop in. Looks nothing from outside but don 't be put off. Can recommend 'put ' and 'gorgonzola ' steaks, along with creamy cod bake (bacalhau).

Come have a mediocre food if you have 2-3h time to spare.. food was too oily (grilled black pork) and the waiters didn't show interest in serving or how long you're waiting.. don't know how people kept coming (tourists mainly).. Sat down around 14:15.. left 17:25 Worst service in portugal guaranteed!!

We stopped here for a sandwich before visiting the Clerigos Tower. It wasn't busy, had a very nice sandwich ordered the beef baguette but it was actually pork, no matter, it was plentiful and tasty. Inexpensive, inside nicely laid out and obviously popular with the locals, many tables were full. Worth a walk around the corner to come across this little place. By the side of a busy road, didn't bother us but it may some.

I ordered the Porco Preto grelhado. It came with buttery sautéed cabbage and potatoes. I thought it was really nice, if not a little heavy on the butter. The waiters were really friendly. The dessert I ordered was not good at all. It had layers of some flavorless cookies drenched in coffee with whipped cream and nata on top. Skip it. If you're in the neighborhood and looking for a cheap, nice lunch this is a good bet.
