Miss Pavlova

This was the trip of a lifetime for me and my daughter. It was our first experience in Porto, and would rebook this charming vintage hotel in a heartbeat! We loved our stay at the Pestana, the location is fantastic. The accommodations are very comfortable. The staff is wonderful, so friendly and knowledgeable. They even presented my husband with a piece of cake and glass of bubbly at breakfast on his bday!

We had 2 heavenly Pavlovas at Miss Pavlova with great cold coffee. Hard to find a good cold coffee in Porto. We had the passionfruit and the berry one. The staff was very pleasant and the interior is very cute.

I don’t know why other reviewers had a bad experience. This was a bright delightful stop on a cool rainy day! There were crowds outside, but inside was quiet and bright! We had cappuccinos, macaroons, and pavlova (they had 4 from which to choose! . The service was extremely courteous and helpful with suggestions. They even brought a heater over to us! Staff wore GREAT tshirts that I wish were available for sale!! All and all, HIGHLY recommend this place. Also, they followed ALL COVID restrictions, but we weren’t required to wear masks on the enclosed bright patio.
