No frills place. Just good Portuguese food and great service. Had the grilled squid and fried octopus as well as the Frango Assado (roast chicken). All the entre came with potatoes. All was good and very good value.

A giant of a man, the son of the owner, and a charmer ready to please, Mario will deliver a meal that is a marvel of home-cooking. Up a narrow staircase not far for the labyrinthine Casa de Musica, the restaurant has been in the same family for around for 45 years. Pals of the owner in their checked shirts serve and amazing array of down-home comfort food. If you don't like sardines or cod fritters, try the sweet baked whiting or the grilled octopus. There is roast chicken and also succulent roast veal. Salads and potatoes are abundant, Be careful or you'll be taking a lot of food back to your hotel. At the end, Mario will douse you with a delicious 40-proof digestive. The house wine is exceptional.
