Cais 35 Sushi - Porto

Best location in all of Porto, right on the river by all the action. Surrounded by music of street performers, watch the boats pass, people watching… and a really great value sushi lunch combo. Lots of sushi, including an appetizer, drink, and coffee for €18!

While the food was okay, the bartender was chewing gum while helping us. They said we had time to eat dinner but when we said down we had 5 minutes to order. After we ate we had to pay quickly and leave. I would not recommend this restaurant at all!

I was offered three menus at this place, Portuguese, Sushi, Italian. We chose the Italian menu and the service was slow and horrible. It took them 40 minutes for two slides of bread with cheese and then we waited for almost an hour for the main course while three other customers that came after us were serve the main course. The waiter said that probably someone was tasting our patient, which was not funny at all. My partner complained to one of the servers and she offered a dessert as compensation for the bad service and to my surprise she included it in the bill, obviously I complained and she said to the other server that she didn’t offered the dessert as compensation for the bad service so I ask to speak with the manager and all of the sudden she took it off the bill. This was the only place where I experienced bad service and by the way we were the only black and Latino seated in the restaurant. I spent 12 days in Portugal and all the other restaurants were nice except from this one. Stay away from this restaurant especially if you are black), the servers were unprofessional and horrible and the food was mediocre.

One of the best Sushi restaurants in town! Fish is extremely fresh and preparation is excellent. Location is one of the best in the historical river side of Porto, next to famous bridge
