Bom dia, meat or fish okay, get the cozido, it is amazing. and there it is a teller of each part of the pork, boiled with carrots and vegetables. this joint is in need, close to the old bolhao market, and it is safe to collect a place for locals here. I discovered it in the minute I came to the market and when I saw that all the street vendors had ushered with a glass, I decided to get a local immersive experience by sitting on one of the plastic chairs. I had a theory of all the best true locality lying on a plastic chair. and it really delivered the joy of the local delicacies: the moment in which the mega plate was served, I know that the essence of Portuguese cooking is: geniune and generous food shared by the beloved. the cozido itself is a traditional building stew, a bit very humble, but quite tasty. if they don't want the ooh or the bloodworm, they can tell them in advance.
Eating was okay, nothing great. prices are good, 5 euro for oktopus with rice, 4 euro for ripening, 8 euro for lachs suppe was 1.5, was good, but salty.
We took two different soups and two different fish dishes (dourada and robalo). they were both beautifully prepared and the portions were extremely generous for a very cheap price. the service is a little slow, but it is easy to forget when they get so. injuring eating.
This is a small, basic, simple restaurant, inside Bolhão's Market. The food is very fresh, well prepared and the service is familiar (literally it's a family running this place).
