Bao's Taiwanese Burger - Porto

Interesting concept but the food is adapted to western taste with the use of mayonnaise and coleslaw. However, the baos were still tasty and the soft shell crab is definitely a must-try.

Visited Bao's with my wife for a quick snack. The chicken burger was the standout, quite good. Pork belly was soft, not crispy. Shredded pork burger was soggy from coleslaw, so we sent it back. Loved the sweet potato fries. Staff was friendly, prices were fair. Downstairs seating smelled like the toilet, better to avoid. Overall, a mix of hits and misses. Chicken burger and sweet potato fries were highlights. Staff was nice and prices were reasonable. However, some burgers disappointed, and the downstairs seating had an unpleasant smell. A rating of three out of five seems fitting.

Absolute fire bao’s, didn’t know about this place but it looked good walking by, ended up being the best Bao’s I’ve ever had. Absolutely amazing chicken, my girl had a rice bowl as well. Good quality and even better service, absolute must go!

Got one bao of pork belly and one chicken. The filling of each was good but the dough itself was ok.
