Second day we got there 10 minutes early and got a spot after waiting 20 minutes for them to finish prepping. They only had 6-8 tables so it was a small staff and a small room, however it was a powerful staff and lovely environment. The food was well worth the wait, especially if you’re living in the area or passing by (not too close to the major tourist spots). Grilled prawns were fresh, all the pork dishes (Bifana and Alheira) were really tasty and heartwarming. The bean and pork stew with rice was extremely underrated, simple yet soulful after a long day of walking. The grilled peppers and pan seared mushrooms were nice vegetable additions as well. Sipping on their sangria was an excellent addition to each bite of the dinner.
Based on a recommendation, we went to this small restaurant a bit out of town. We were more than thrilled! It was just perfect! Very very good! Very nice and helpful conditions. Reasonably priced.
A perfect little place for lunch or dinner. Not too far off the main paths but just far enough to provide an excellent ambiance true to Porto. The food is amazing- and very authentic. They have the BEST bacalhau com natas we have ever had- think scalloped potatos with cod. Very clean and fantastic service. They speak English as well.
Excellent place to get and try an Awesome Francesinha Mini for lunch. Do not miss this quaint spot while on your adventure.
