Petite Jacqueline - Portland

We have dined at Petite Jacqueline for the second time and we were impressed. The food was delicious, the atmosphere had a nice French bistro feel, and the service was outstanding. We have already recommended it to friends who are visiting Portland. There are many amazing restaurants in Portland, and Petite Jacqueline is definitely one of them.

Excellent onion soup, local mussels with pommes frites, perfectly cooked steaks and great efficient friendly service. Love the ambiance, the large windows on Market Street, a great dinner all around!

Food was mediocre and took forever to arrive. So sorry to say this!

What an outstanding meal. When we are in the area we often head to PJ's for lunch or brunch; this trip we were in Portland and took the opportunity to have dinner with them. Everything was perfect. Food, wine and service all were at their best. Throughout the meal we shared so we were able to try twice the selections, every bit of the food was exceptional. Some of the staff working in the evening was different from lunch but they had the same talent for professionalism blended with friendliness. We now are thinking of an occasional night in Portland so we can again visit PJ's for dinner. Thank you, Bill and Julie

The service was excellent. There are so many choices for restaurants in Portland, so if service isn't great, no one need return. Petite Jacqueline is a restaurant to go to BECAUSE the service is so good. The food is wonderful, although portion sizes continue to shrink (esp apps), but the service can't be beaten anywhere in the city. We love PJ.
