The Thirsty Pig - Portland

I visited this restaurant back in 2016 and was thrilled to come back again! The atmosphere is fast-casual and they have a fantastic beer selection. If you enjoy meat and are visiting Portland, this place is definitely worth checking out. A little tip: don't miss the delicious pickles!

I can't believe it, but my freshly made-to-order hot dog was served cold. It's a cool location, but if they can't even get a simple hot dog right? Yikes. I enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the restaurant, but it's definitely not on the level of Hot Doug's.

I ordered my beloved Chicago dog and also tried the Icelandic dog with ketchup, mustard, crispy onion, and remoulade. Both were extremely tasty. The restaurant has updated its menu boards, which now feature their speciality hot dogs, sides, and new sandwiches such as Philly, pulled pork, firecracker chicken thighs, and sweet heat pulled chicken. They also offer one of my favorite draft beers, Biddeford's Sacred Profane Brewing's dark lager.

I stopped by for a drink and to enjoy the live music I could hear from the street. They had a great variety of local beers and the food looked delicious. I sat on the back patio and really enjoyed the ambiance. Definitely recommended for a visit.

I had the vegan hot dog and did not like the taste of her vegan meat substitute. it was too muddy. the tweeping and sneezing were good, so this can be a good place for not vegans. but since this website is vegan concentrated, this can give more than one star.
