Salvage Bbq Smokehouse - Portland

Stopped by here for the first time on New Years Eve..the bartender said they're closing down to revamp the restaurant, and after trying their food I was kind of bummed to hear that! The ribs were tender and flavorful with a nice smokey spicy flavor. The staff was great. Cold beers and good food, what more could you ask for?

The brisket was amazing. What's up with all the pepper in the Mac though? My kids didn't like it. Seriously just fix that. People can add pepper.

Great. Went there twice in two weeks because it was so good. Got the brisket, pork, fries, coleslaw, and Mac and cheese. Delicious

Portland is blessed to have three amazing barbecue places, and Salvage is definitely on that list (along with Noble and Elsmere). Salvage is the only one in- town on the peninsula. Fun, casual atmosphere, friendly service, generous portions, and most importantly awesome BBQ!

This place surprised me i usually dislike anything smoked but their BBQ sauce and smoke was very good. Service was great! We ordered the Mest Fatality platter served 5-7 Mac n cheese has a kick, collards yummy, baked beans were delish. Cornbread was little dry but it's corn bread! Ribs were tender, chicken wings were good too.All the meats were flavorful! We spent a total of $170.
