If you're coming from the NY/NJ area and expecting the traditional bagel, you may be disappointed here. The everything bagel was generously topped with everything seasoning, a big plus, but lacked seasoning on the bottom, a big negative. The texture of the bagel was more like ciabatta, which isn't necessarily bad, just different. It was also more flat than rounded. We tried the rose lox, which had a light taste but was enjoyable on its own. Overall, it was a unique take on a bagel, not what we were expecting but definitely worth trying. Like everywhere else in Portland, it was busy!

We had heard great things about this restaurant from friends and decided to stop by during our visit to Portland. The online ordering process was seamless and we received a text notification when our order was ready within the expected time frame. Finding parking on the street was easy and we quickly picked up our bagel sandwiches, which were filled with cucumbers, dill, capers, cream cheese, and lox. The bagels were perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the flavors were incredibly fresh and delicious. I requested to exclude onions, which was a simple process online. The coffee was also great, especially on a windy day. We can't wait for them to reopen, as the cozy and inviting setting looks perfect for a relaxing meal.

These are the best bagels in portland! Online ordering and pickup is a piece of cake and they offer some great bagel aromas and cream cheese! I recommend all this bagel with the crimped cream cheese for a really tasteful breakfast. great to see that all workers wear face masks when I picked up the bagels from the pickup window! I'll definitely get bagels back here.
