Otto - Portland

Ordered a build your own vegan pizza with jalapeños and kalamata olives. I really enjoyed the vegan pizza it was worth the drive!

They have very good pizzas. We love coming here with the kids!

So my daughter and I walked two miles in the wrong direction and stumbled into OTTO with no expectations. DO NOT MISS this place on your vegan food adventures! We ordered the vegan cheese pizza with mushrooms and spinach. It was so so good!

Set to otto because they have so many vegan options that flatbread, bonobo and portland pie. I have the gluten-free 12 that I suspect is vegan, as it is listed as an option in the vegan menu (portland pie’s gf crust has egg. the mushroom flower cauliflower ordered, light on the cheese. I rarely eat pizza because I am a whole food plant and not often processed something. that was a tasty bite. the crust is thinner and crispy as flatbreads, but delicious. overall I am satisfied with my choice. I am the type when I make pizza home to the toppings strong to maximize veggies. I have to find another pizza place that does (portland pie is coming next. I come back to otto, but I'm sure I'll come back to otto. husband had the veggie special, which was made slightly vegan by replacing the cheese (sweet potato polnta very easily on the small pieces of the polnta. we were out and cried out in the order, as there was no place online to observe an allergy. the prices are very cheap for vegan and gf upgrades.

They always have a vegan special. The pizza is good and well coated in vegan cheese, unlike a a few pizza joints in Maine.
