Armory Lounge - Portland

DELICIOUS, super refreshing perfect mango marg. Ambiance is a bit dark, service was slow (clearly understaffed), but convenient location- mix of demographics there, families, older folks, millennial/Gen Z. Bathroom is super clean though (it's in a nice hotel), great location in the heart of downtown Portland so you can walk anywhere after for dessert, or if you want to go shopping or near the waterfront.

It was my first time there meeting a friend for cocktails for a 'TGIF ' , after work. They provide a nice cheese and pretzel plate that was great. We didn 't get any food or appetizers as my friend indicated 'not so good ', so I can 't make any judgements there. But, the staff are very friendly, fun and attentive. I 'd stop by for another cocktail !

Pro tip: To get to the Armory, keep walking when you enter the hotel and head downstairs. On the right will be the bar's door.Once we found the lounge, we had a great time. Service was fast and friendly, and drinks delicious.

Bartenders are very friendly, they are great happy to make suggestions. The fish and chips were good. Love the chocolate cake martini The atmosphere is great. Must ask and see if they still have the free cheese and crackers
