I also ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup but the container was extremely small for $9. I would return but I would just checked my order before leaving.
Had a quick weekend breakfast and was hoping to return for lunch. The deli menu looks great! Pickles, Jewish dessert delicacies and that menu- Yum! For breakfast we chose to grab and go, and it was very good! Wish we had time to try other items. I am told that there are other locations in Delaware. Not a huge chain, and doesn't feel like one!
Gave it two stars because the food is good but the prices are ridiculously high (it’s a deli) and the servings sizes are incredibly small (think expensive French bistro) I just ordered a tuna salad sandwich, can of soda and side of macaroni salad…it was $21…no chips, no pickle, the macaroni salad was in the smallest possible sized container (was $4) and the sandwich was on two of the smallest pieces of rye bread I’ve ever seen. They used to give you a marginally decent serving but this last order was just disappointing…
We wanted to try something new in the area and I'm glad we decided to come here. The interior of the building is very clean. The staff was so helpful and friendly. And the options feel endless. My eyes kept catching something new whether it be the babka, cannoli cake, strawberry short cake, or other desserts. We were very pleased with the quality of the food! I got For the Birds my bf got the Paul's sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious. We will definitely be going back!
Outstanding sandwiches. One of the best phillie steak and cheese I have ever had. Excellent chicken salad. Great dogs, sliced meat. Not much else however. Skimpy on the Jewish pastries, baked goods looked better than they tasted, fairly slow service. The negative reviews are pretty accurate but wait a minute, the sandwiches are amazing, worth the wait. Just don't expect a New York or Rehoboth beach type Jewish deli. Get real, this is a Jewish deli in Wilmington Delaware. Just to give you the idea of how great this place is, we were in town for three days and went there twice.
