Hands down the best sushi in Kalamazoo! We're fish. We're raw fish. And whether we have a special occasion to celebrate or not, going to Sakura is the special occasion to celebrate! We love going to lunch during the week because of their amazing lunch specialties! (Not available on Sunday) Our favorite is the Eel Avocado role. The share and price are not to be beaten! And it is nice to start with a cup of fog soup that is light, tasty and the perfect temperature. We always get the Sushi Deluxe because we love her nigiri. The yellow tail, escolar and salmon were fan-effing-tastic every time! The service is always good. We always leave happy and happy. During our last visit we tried their special green goddess role. I highly recommend it, especially for those who like a little spice, and maybe want to branch off from Tempoura and California rolls and try the raw material. It has a fantastic crunch from the Jalapeño! Next time it would get without the spicy Mayo. Not because of the spices, it simply distracted from the fish a little that, as you know, we love. Very recommended and will be back soon!

The food was amazing and service was great. They were very busy when we arrived, but we sat fast and served immediately. In and out in an hour that was perfect since we went into a movie.

Great sushi! Good bar selection including Japanese beer, every dish we ordered was tasteful and fresh as possible, excellent service very attentive and helpful, Taylor did and amazing work us all we need and order. Definitely for more and perhaps a regular, thank you!

This place is the largest Hibachi in Michigan. Every time I go to this place, the food never disappoints. The role I had was made perfect. The bet I ordered was perfectly cooked. Please leave here if you celebrate something. Always a 5-star location
