Noodles Company - Portage

The chicken pad thai was just okay. There was very little sauce, and the chicken was so thinly pounded that it was mostly skin. The only heat came from a small plastic container of dry pepper flakes that was included in the Styrofoam takeout. Perhaps their Italian dishes are better. On the bright side, the food was ready when promised. Overall, I was disappointed.

The girls really liked their mac and cheese; it looked very creamy. I had the Pad Thai, but I wouldn't order it again. It didn't taste authentic, and the noodles were unlike the Pad Thai I've had at genuine Chinese or Vietnamese restaurants. I would consider returning to try something like the Alfredo instead. The service was pleasant, though.

Unfortunately, compared to other Noodles and Company locations, the food didn't meet our expectations. The Korean noodles looked different from what was shown on the menu, and the spicy penna rosa was lacking in spice. **Value for Money:** ★★☆☆☆ The noodles are on the pricey side for what you get.

This used to be a favorite of mine, I used to eat here several times a week. They have gone down hill in every category there is available. We ate here 7/18/2022 1218 pm for lunch they don't have my stroganoff anymore, they substituted it but it wasn't evenclose the original, the mac and cheese was good but very small portion for what we paid for. The cooler in front of the registerwas broke so all the drinks were warm, employee told me its been this way for a long time. They stopped with the salad andbread awhile ago, now that's extra. You are asked to bus your own table for lack luster food, small portions, kinda dry food,over priced food and portions are very small and warm beverages unless you use the fountain machine. I remember when this placeused to go out of their way for customers, their slogan when they brought the food to your table we don't except tips we bus thetables for you and is there anything else we can get for you ? Its truly sad that many places have gone this route.

Not very happy with food. I did takeout and watched the lobby area while I waited. The minute I saw the person that took my order and cash. Then pickup and clean lobby then touch the food area without a second thought about washing his hands I shouldof changed my mind. Noodle very dry. Very expensive and lack of care for their customers.
