Benchwarmer's Grille - Portage

The food is delicious and the service is friendly. The deep-fried vegetables and blooming onion are outstanding. The prices are reasonable. This has become our new favorite restaurant.

I had the sea perch special last Friday and it was fantastic! The presentation on the plate was beautiful and there was plenty to eat. We plan to make it a regular Friday visit. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also very lovely.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is absolutely unsurpassed! not as bare as bdubs, so this place is totally child-friendly. our server was very polite and made accommodations since my engaged and I had to be somehow ready to go the door, in every minute call for his job. the loaded fries are to die and the wings are fantastic! also quite expensive. in any case will be back!

$5 cans of beer, food doesn't come with sides, basically a wannabe version of buffalo wild wings. place was empty, server sounded like a zombie and I cant blame her. the food itself wasnt horrible, but definitely bland and simple. pulled pork sandwich and the philly cheese steak looked like school lunches. wings were good though.
