Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Tropical Smoothie usually meets my expectations, but the staff has become a joke. They are rude and entirely unprofessional. From now on, I will take my business elsewhere.

While my family and I love the food and smoothies, the customer service needs significant improvement. Our orders—whether placed for pickup or delivery—have been completely overlooked. Today, I spoke with one of the staff about this issue, but they refused to acknowledge any mistakes. Instead, they suggested I double-check my order. Sure, I can do that, but it misses the larger issue at hand. It's essential to ensure that customers' orders are fulfilled accurately. Because of this inadequate customer service, I will be choosing not to order from this location again.

These days, I’m trying to be more understanding of the hospitality and retail industries. Perfection is hard to achieve when workers aren't compensated fairly. However, I have to say that the food at this smoothie-themed place was disappointing. Today, for instance, I ordered a quesadilla that was overstuffed and heated just enough to make it look presentable. It went straight into the trash. The smoothies, on the other hand, were as good as ever, but they're generally hard to mess up. We'll give this place another shot in 2023, hoping that any issues will be identified and resolved by then. The location near Best Buy on the highway is much more consistent, so we’re willing to make the extra trip for a pomegranate smoothie.

As a formal Tropical Smoothie employee, my opinion about the work in this particular place was terrible as a so-called Shift Leader. Our bosses would let minors work for 40 hours without breaks until they can't take it anymore. Parents would call the boss and try to explain their child's frustrations, but without determination. On the other hand, I could not accept how our boss treated these minors, so I decided to stop yesterday. I had my own share of disappointments since the 3rd. In January 2022, fulltime employees were employed. But, as our boss treats these teenagers, it weighed hard on my heart. Work here at your discretion!!!! God bless...
