Smokehouse Bbq - Port Royal

The food was incredibly delicious—we dove right in without even taking photos to show everyone what they were missing! Make sure to come hungry and without any rush! The staff is wonderful and very accommodating!

Delicious food, wonderful staff, and definitely a top 5 spot in my lunch rotation for several years!

We shared the brisket platter...very tender and tasty. Sauces are not house-made (Mustard/Sweet Red) they are Sweet Baby Ray sauces. We had collards and slaw with the brisket and two extra sides. Mac-n-Chz and baked beans. All four are best described as good old fashioned soul food! Superb! The banana pudding was not old fashioned but yummy just the same. Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing.

Visited in 2022. Great food and nice location. Strongly recommend if you are in the area. We took quite a detour to get there, but it was absolutely worth it!

Classic BBQ dive good meats and sides at a reasonable price collards in particular were spot on. Don't expect white tablecloths...
