Pit Devil Bbq Catering - Port Lavaca

After picking up our vehicle from Port Lavaca, my partner and I arrived at the restaurant just before closing time. We weren’t aware of their hours, but they welcomed us with open arms. At first, I felt a bit guilty since I know how it feels to be ready to close up and go home after a long day. In my own work, I sometimes stay late for my customers. However, seeing how this entrepreneur treated us was truly heartwarming—they made us feel like family. It's hard to find great restaurants with a welcoming atmosphere, and this place stood out. Our meals were fantastic! I will definitely spread the word about this gem. The rice tasted just like my grandmother used to make (may her soul rest in peace). The chicken fajitas are amazing; I honestly don't think they could be improved. I wish I could give more than five stars, but that's the highest rating I can provide!

The food here is fresh and incredibly delicious. The staff is outstanding. Each dish is full of flavor—hot, fresh, and tasty. I dine here 5 to 6 times a month because it's simply the best. I highly recommend it! The service is excellent!

Large grill, good price, great service! had today a delicious (d smoked) pork steak menu, perfect on a cold, blunt winter day.

I had the brisket fries. It was absolutely delightful. Brisket on top of fries smothered in cheese sauce sounds simple but it hits the spot.
