Mazatlan Mexican - Port Lavaca

It's okay. Went there about 3pm. I got two happy hour Pina colada, 1 fish taco special, and a cheese quesadilla plate. Pretty sure it was 3.99x2+8.99+9.99 but came out to 36. I think we were over charged, Anyway, service was okay. We were asked acouple times if everything was okay but then wouldn't see anyone for 10 minutes, the food was okay, the salsa taste off. Thecilantro salsa for the tacos was very good. Waited around for 5-10 min after eating because no one told us to go to the registerto pay when done, not that anyone was at the register or visible at all anyway. Id go back to try the fajita plates which are14-16 unless prices changed.

Food is ok. Service was subpar.I greeted our waitress and she barely responded. There were 5 of us 3 out of 5 meals was wrong. Definitely won't be going back there.

The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent! The food is of high quality, and the portions are generous enough that you often leave with leftovers. I truly enjoy dining here.

You can often gauge how well a restaurant values its customers when you arrive 30 minutes before closing time. The service wasn't awful, but it certainly wasn't outstanding either. We were a party of four; two of us ordered the taco plates, while the other two chose the chapula plate. The food was decent, but one of the taco plates had a piece of plastic paper underneath it. Unfortunately, when my friend tried to pick up her food with a fork, she accidentally scraped some of the paper along with it. I'm not sure what the purpose of the paper was in a dine-in setting. I might consider giving this place another chance, but I'm still undecided.
